For the SDS (Study Direct Stream), you need IELTS 6.0 overall with no band below 6.0. Non-SDS may accept 5.5 overall. Top universities like Toronto, UBC and McGill usually require 6.5+ with no band below 6.0.

SDS applications from Pakistan are typically processed in 4–8 weeks. Non-SDS files can take 8–16 weeks depending on visa office workload.

Yes — international students can work up to 24 hours per week off-campus during academic terms and full-time during scheduled breaks.

After completing an eligible program at a public DLI, you can apply for a PGWP for up to 3 years to gain Canadian work experience, which counts toward Permanent Residency.

A GIC of CAD 20,635 (per IRCC, 2025) plus your first-year tuition fee. Funds for accompanying family members are extra.

Since 2024, IRCC requires most undergraduate and college applicants to submit a PAL/TAL issued by the province where they will study. We help arrange this through the DLI.
